With electronic booking, getting an e2Taxi is easy!
Customers can reserve trips through the web, using email, or on the e2Taxi website. The request can be for a same day, immediate response trip or can be made for a future trip. These reservations will receive a follow-up email containing the trip number and verification that the trip has been scheduled. Soon customers will be able to make reservations on their smartphones.
Text messages can also be sent to the company to reserve a trip. The text message will be primarily for immediate response trips, but can also be used to schedule an advance trip.
Other convenient methods of reserving a ride are also available.
- Telephone: Customers generally make their reservations for a taxi trip by telephone. The calls will be forwarded to call takers who will enter the trip into the system.
- Contract trips: Customer agencies, services, or other types of facilities that need specialized support may choose to contract with e2TaxiŽ for their organization's local transportation service. These trips can either be entered by email, telephone, or text message. These might include a number of trip requests which will be grouped together as much as possible, to control the individual trip cost.
- On-street hailing: Customers do not need a pre-arranged reservation to get an e2Taxi ride. If they see an empty, in-service cab on the street, customers can simply flag it down and immediately begin their trip.
